ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Leigh Bardugo is the #1 New York Times bestselling and internationally bestselling author of the critically acclaimed Six of Crows and the highly anticipated Crooked Kingdom; as well as the Grisha Trilogy (Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm, Ruin and Rising). Leigh’s UK sales exceed 120,000 copies, with all her books in the UK published by Orion Children’s Books. She was born in Jerusalem, grew up in Los Angeles, graduated from Yale University, and has worked in advertising, journalism, and most recently, makeup and special effects. These days, she lives and writes in Hollywood where she can occasionally be heard singing with her band.

Rainbow Rowell is the internationally bestselling author of Fangirl, a recent choice for the inaugural ZOELLA (WHSmith) book club; UK sales of Fangirl currently stand at 130,000 copies. Her spin-off novel, Carry On, debuted last year at No. 1 on the New York Times Best Sellers list. Rainbow first made a splash in the young adult world with 2012’s Eleanor & Park, about which John Green said: “Eleanor & Park reminded me not just what it’s like to be young and in love with a girl, but also what it’s like to be young and in love with a book.” She’s also written novels for adults — Attachments and Landline. A former newspaper columnist, Rainbow lives with her family in Nebraska.
