Short Sighted is back! BAFTA and British Council Film present the popular annual all-day event on marketing and distributing your short film, in association with Shooting People.

Finished a short film.. what now? Short Sighted welcomes many of the major players in short film distribution, across eight events, to discuss the different ways to getting your film seen. Whether this is by international audiences, maximising your festival run or optimising your online profile, we aim to provide an in-depth look at the short film landscape. Together with a selection of film industry figures, we’ll also look ahead to the future of short film distribution; what new platforms, channels and players are emerging and is there revenue to be found?

Of course, Short Sighted would not be complete without the opportunity to relax, digest and discuss experiences with other filmmakers. We will be wrapping up with a networking reception for all participants and attendees, as well as speakers throughout the day.
