Beer is not always just hops and barley. The world’s most popular adult beverage has a long and varied history of being made from the weirdest stuff imaginable, including elephant dung. However, even the strangest ingredients all have one thing in common: they hail from planet Earth. That’s not the case with some of the stuff in this new brew.

Dogfish Head Brewery has just released their limited batch Celest-jewel-ale, which boasts actual moon dust as an ingredient. The beer was made in partnership with ILC Dover, who are better known for making the spacesuits employed by NASA astronauts. There ain’t no party like an astronaut party.

Obviously, farming moon dust from lunar meteorites isn’t the easiest process in the world. As such, the beer will only be available at the Dogfish Head Brewpub in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I’ll meet you there!
