Mother Nature continued to reward Colorado skiers and riders for their patience in the fall with up to two feet of snow in the last 72 hours at Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) ski areas.

Along the Continental Divide, Arapahoe Basin and Loveland Ski Area received 24 and 19 inches respectively. Further north, Steamboat was blanketed with 18 inches in the last 72 hours while Howelsen Hill received 13 inches.

Skiers and riders who visited Cooper for its opening weekend enjoyed 15 inches while Winter Park Resort welcomed 14 inches for the opening of Mary Jane Territory. Elsewhere, Copper Mountain reported 13 inches, Eldora welcomed a foot of new snow, Monarch Mountain and Crested Butte each received 10 inches and Aspen Highlands saw 9 inches of fresh snow.

This recent storm will allow ski areas to continue to build their snow base and open more terrain before the busy Holiday season.

Keep up to date on snowfall totals with the CSCUSA snow report, which is updated daily: http://www.coloradoski.com/snow-report.
