What could be better than a BYU football game this weekend? A football game that is broadcast live, right from our very own campus! BYUtv is excited to announce that this week’s football game against Southern Utah will be broadcast live on BYUtv and simulcast on ESPN3. The ability to produce live sports coverage is something that is truly unique at BYU.
As BYUtv Sports producer Mikel Minor notes, "No other university owns and operates robust, state-of-the-art production facilities like those at BYUtv—as well as the dedicated talent, staff, and crew necessary to produce high-profile live events like football at a level on par with some of the major networks."
Minor goes on to explain, "A live football broadcast of this scale is a massive logistical and technical undertaking—yet BYUtv has the tools and the talent to handle the task with practiced precision."
