HEI Hotels recently acknowledged that cyber criminals gained access to some customers’ payment card information at 20 of its properties in the U.S., via a point-of-sale data breach that began in early 2015 and continued through June 2016.
In a statement and FAQ the company said that compromised customer information includes cardholders’ names, credit or debit card numbers, expiration dates, and the card verification code. HEI published a list of the affected hotel locations and timeframes here.
