Fast food giant Wendy’s acknowledged that cyber criminals gained access to some customers’ payment card information at over 1,000 franchise locations in the U.S., via a widespread point-of-sale data breach that began in late fall 2015 and continued through June 2016.

In a statement, the company said that compromised customer information includes cardholders’ names, credit or debit card numbers, expiration dates, the cardholder verification value and service code. Wendy’s published a list of the potentially affected restaurant locations and timeframes here.
