This year again Berlin is hosting Tech Open Air. During three days, TOA will bring arts and technologies together, acknowledging and encouraging their mutual influence and their interdependance. This is a great opportunity for creatives to get inspired and share their ideas, while wandering between fresh food stalls and live music events.
Over the years, the Tech Open Air Festival has become the most unconventional technologies festival in Europe. In a professional but casual spirit, the festival intends to construct bridges between disciplines – art, music, tech and science - that are wrongly considered to belong to different fields. TOA is the meeting point for open minded and creative entrepreneurs.
Thus Artconnect presents today different opportunities to join this event and make the best out of it. Three open calls – Back To The Future, Pitch-Nic and Hardware Pitch - value craftsmen handiwork and allow ambitious start-ups to have their voice heard. Three ways of participating in the festival for the ones looking to challenge themselves and expose their projects to the community. Back To The Future – When Start-ups speed-date Enterprises
Back To The Future is for young Berlin based start-ups which are interested in participating in two speed meeting and networking sessions: online applications are still open! The opportunity is in partnership with Projekt Zukunft, the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research’s initiative.
Pitch-Nic – Put your project on the grill at the garden party!
On July 15th, Pitch-Nic session will take place in the Unconference courtyard between food stalls and under the tents’ veils. There, selected start-ups get an open opportunity for one on one time with top tech investors. Eligible start-ups should be in early stage and can also still apply online.
Hardware Pitch – For Makers, Tinkerers and Handymen
On July 16th, six hardware innovations will be pitched on stage to a panel of international experts and entrepreneurs during the Hardware Pitch. After a democratic vote, only two projects will be rewarded: one with the Experts Prize and the second with the People Prize. Find all details about the rewards and application conditions online
