Downloading and Setting Up the GoArmyEd Mobile App
Returning Students – With Existing GoArmyEd Accounts:
Just search for “GoArmyEd” in either the Apple or Google Play App Store and download the GoArmyEd App, or follow the links below.

Once the download is complete, you can login and access your account and apply for tuition assistance with your current password information. It’s that easy!
New Students – Setting Up Your GoArmyEd App Account:
For soldiers who have never used Federal Tuition Assistance before, follow these steps to get started:
1. Download “GoArmyEd” on your device
2. Click “Login to GoArmyEd.com”
3. Click “Create/Activate Account”
4. Choose “Student”
5. Fill in your personal information (Name, DOB, Address, etc.)
6. Once your account is created, you will need to “log out” then “log back in” to your account
7. Once logged back in, click “Request TA Access” and follow the steps. (Note: Be sure to have your commanding officer’s name and email address on hand for clearance.)
8. Contact your CO and let them know an SOU email was sent to their inbox and encourage their prompt response.
9. That’s it! Once your CO receives and returns the SOU email, you will be able to access your TA account information.
Congratulations! You should now have access to your TA funding account and can work with your school to sign up for classes. If you have any further questions about setting up your GoArmyEd App, please contact an Allied representative at (888) 384-0849.

GoArmyEd FAQ’s:
What if I already used TA before? You can still download the app, and login to your account to request TA.
What if I have an account but I don’t know my user name? Call GoArmyEd helpdesk: 1-800-817-9990 to access or change your user name information.
What if I don’t know my password? There is a button to push if you don’t know password on the login screen. GoArmyEd will allow you to change the password and will email you a new one…but you need access to AKO to get it.
What if I don’t have a smart phone? You can actually borrow a fellow soldier’s phone phone/ipad to create account or you’ll have to use the website on your personal computer.
Does this mean I am enrolled once I download it? You are not enrolled into school… GoArmyEd is for securing “funding” for courses. Just having the app and your account unlocked does not mean you are in school. You will still need to meet all admissions requirements with your school.
