In a veritable clash of the Premier League titans, Liverpool and Manchester collide this Sunday in a fixture which will most likely decide who finishes up as this season's champions.

The Reds currently sit atop the English pile, with four points separating them from the third-placed Citizens—who hold two games in hand—and in the full knowledge that the trophy is theirs if they can win the remaining five games on their schedule.

In their pre-match noted, both Manuel Pellegrini and Brendan Rodgers have been swift to point out that the season doesn't end with this fixture, per BBC Sport, but that doesn't mean it won't very heavily impact both clubs' trajectories.

Two of the most in-form teams in the division will need all their star talents firing at optimum skill in order to edge this head-to-head, and we bring you all the latest team news ahead of the season's most anticipated matchup.

Liverpool

Rodgers is fortunate in that he has no new injury worries ahead of this weekend's Anfield meeting, with long-term absentee Jose Enrique the main star still sitting on the sidelines.

As the official Liverpool Twitter account pointed out on Friday, Daniel Agger will be fit to feature for the Merseyside hosts, but Squawka's Jack Watson doesn't see the Dane's return as cause for a starting spot:

Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez come into the match fresh after being named joint Premier League Player of the Month for March, but the latter says that his captain is deserving of the accolade:

Both players have been vital in seeing the club surge into title contention over recent months, but will that stellar influence be enough to overcome such powerful opposition in the form of City?

And just as Agger's comeback marks a boost for the home team this week, Pellegrini has reason to be joyful himself after seeing star striker Sergio Aguero return to fitness this week.

Per Sky Sports News, the Argentine international has been away from City's line-up for four weeks now and couldn't have timed his recovery any better in time for such a pivotal fixture:

Another key component who's set to play is Yaya Toure, who the visitors feared might be unavailable after picking up a knock against Southampton last week, while Matija Nastasic isn't yet ready for his return.
