Just a few days after falling out of the English Premiership lead, Arsenal are back atop the league table with the recent loss by Manchester City.

Staying there, however, will be difficult this week, as they hit the road for their next match where they are underdogs facing a Liverpool squad that sits fourth overall.

As of midweek, the EPL sportsbook comparative odds at Odds Shark had Liverpool with odds of +110, Arsenal at +200 and a draw line of +260.

Liverpool sit eight points back of Arsenal, and while they are in the midst of a five-match unbeaten streak, they have played to a draw in two of their last three matches.

Their last match was a disappointing 1-1 draw facing a West Bromwich squad that is in 16th place and fighting to stay out of the relegation zone.

Since being drubbed by Manchester City 6-3, the Gunners are unbeaten in their last eight matches. Their offense has been solid, but the reason Arsenal is winning is because of their defense. The Gunners have conceded the second-fewest goals in the league.

In their eight-game run, they have allowed only four goals, with four clean sheets.

Arsenal, which trended toward the OVER (8-4 in 12 road matches) in soccer betting as a road team, will have their defense tested by a Liverpool club that have the second-most goals in the league.

Luis Suárez leads the league in goals by an eight-goal margin, and Daniel Sturridge has returned from injury to score five goals in his last four matches.

Arsenal has a tough February, not only with the Liverpool match, but they also face Manchester United in the Premier League and Bayern Munich in the knockout phase of the Champions League.

Earlier this season, at Emirates Stadium, Arsenal beat Liverpool 2-0.

Arsenal have scored two goals in each of their last five league matches. Olivier Giroud leads the club in goals, and the oft-injured Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored two goals in the Gunners’ last match.

The Gunners are hoping he can provide some offense, as Aaron Ramsey, with eight goals, and Theo Walcott, with five, are injured and will not play.

After a shaky couple of matches on defense, the Reds have only conceded one goal in their last two matches.

Prediction: 3-2 Liverpool
