After two days at the 2013 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, young Tom Lewis has surprised the world, taking sole possession of first place with a 15-under-par 129.

The 22-year-old has been consistent thus far, posting a seven-under-par 65 on Friday after registering an eight-under par 64 on Thursday. The Brit has missed the cut in 12 tournaments on the European Tour this year, and he's coming off a 59th-place finish at Golf Club Torino La Mandria.

European Tour No. 11 Joost Luiten trails Lewis by one stroke after posting a nine-under-par 63 on Friday.

Joost Luiten, currently in second place, tees off at 9:44 a.m BST at St. Andrews. Paired with Paul McGinley, the 27-year-old is coming off a win at the KLM Open. He has two victories and seven top-10 finishes this year. 

Peter Uihlein, the No. 30 player on the European Tour, will tee off at 10:28 a.m. He shot a 12-under-par 60 on Friday to soar into a tie for third place. He won the Reno-Tahoe Open and placed sixth at the Puerto Rico Open on the PGA Tour this year. He won the Madeira Islands Open and has six top-10 finishes on the European Tour this year.

Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen will also be paired together at St. Andrews. They tee off at 10:17 a.m.

Hennie Otto, currently tied for third place at 13 under, will tee off before Lewis at 9 a.m. Otto, the No. 112 player on tour, is coming off an eight-place finish at Golf Club Torino La Mandria. He also posted a top-10 finish at the Tshwane Open early in the year.

Soren Kjeldsen, currently tied for ninth, will tee off at 9:22 a.m. Kjeldsen, the No. 62 player on tour, missed the cut at Golf Club Torino La Mandria but placed eighth at the KLM Open. He has three top-10 finishes this year.

Mark Foster also tees off at Carnoustie. The Brit has two top-10 finishes this year, and he's coming off a 16th-place finish at Golf Club Torino La Mandria.
