Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we’re watching all of our favorite stores for their Black Friday weekend deals. One of our favorites being Pier 1 Imports!
While it’s still a little too early to know what’s coming for 2016 (we should have the details in the days leading up to Thanksgiving), we expect them to bring back their 30% off deal on all Christmas related items. Last year that included trees, wreaths, stockings, ornaments, grift wrap, and more. They also had all picture frames, mirrored furniture, kitchen and textiles on sale over the weekend. Plus if you decided to stay at home on Black Friday and not face the crazy crowds at the mall, you could order online and pick up your order later in-store for free. Of course as soon as we know what’s coming for 2016 we will post the details here on BlackerFriday.com.
Until then, be sure to take a look at the clearance and end of season sale items as you’ll find some pretty good pre-holiday deals already. And if you sign up to their email list you’ll get 10% off your next purchase at pier1.com (new subscribers only – offer expiration is unknown).

Today’s a busy day for us as Pier 1 Imports is the fifth Black Friday ad leak coming in to us within the last few hours. We’ve posted the full scan below, just give it a few moments to load up as the images are big. The sale starts on Thanksgiving Day online at pier1.com and Friday morning in-store (store times may vary but we expect most locations to be open early at 12:00AM just like last year). It’ll run all way through Cyber Monday so you’ll have plenty of time to pick up whatever you want.
Some of the best deals this year include are on holiday decor – All trees, stocking, ornaments, wreaths, and more are up to 30% off. That also includes assorted picture frames, holiday candles, throws, glasswear, and pre-lit outdoor decor (check out the happy snowman!). And for your best friend (your loyal dog) you’ll be able to pick up an indoor Papasan with red plush pillow for just $99.99.
If you plan on shipping online, we’ve noticed that Pier 1 has a deal where you can get 10% off coupon code to use on your next purchase if you sign up to their email newsletter at pier1.com (new subscribers only). We’re not sure if it can be used during the Black Friday weekend sale but it might be worth trying.
2014:
Christmas is around the corner and now is the time to stock up on holiday decorations. Pier 1 Imports’ Black Friday deals will get you covered this year. You will be able to save up to 30% on all Christmas items! Additionally, all frames, kitchen textiles and many more will be discounted just in time for the “giving” season.
The store will open at 8 A.M. but if you are not an early bird type you can always shop on-line with a free in-store pickup option. Just remember to select the free store pickup option and you will be notified via email (usually within few hours) when your item is ready for you. Also, you do not need to worry if your local store does not have your items in stock. Pier 1 will have up to 10 days to ship it to your local store from its distribution centers.
But that is not the end of your purchasing options: if there is no Pier 1 Imports store near your place, you can shop online with a free shipping rate on all purchases over $75. Remember though that some shipping and handling fees may apply to some large or bulky items but you will be notified about it at the checkout. But hurry up – this offer is valid only from 12.00 A.M CT through 11.59 P.M. CT on Thanksgiving Day November 27, 2014! Unfortunately, Alaskan and Hawaiian shoppers will not be eligible for the free shipping over $75 offer.
