Since first opening in 2004, Hampton-based fashion purveyor Blue & Cream has become known for its carefully curated selection of luxury menswear and womenswear. Founder Jeffrey Goldstein sought to create a shopping experience that appealed to the Hamptonite’s discerning jet-set lifestyle, which has naturally garnered an impressive book of celebrity clients across its three locations. For women, B&C’s breadth of top designers ranges from 3.1 Phillip Lim to IRO; for men, the offering is just as grand, from A.P.C.  to Public School.

We sifted through all these beautiful pieces to create our own BlackBook-exclusive shopping guide, featuring everything from the perfect silk cocktail dress for women to the essential lace-up sneaker for men.

(Top Left) H Brand Ashleigh Rabbit Fur Coat, IRO Kerry Peau Laine Jacket, 3.1 Phillip Lim Sleeveless Mock-Neck Pullover (Lower Left) 3.1 Phillip Lim Print Silk Ruffle Dress, IRO Ashton Jacket, Ganni State St. Check Coat

For one, we’ve always adored New York-based designer 3.1 Phillip Lim, whose stunning collections beautifully complement the city they were conceived in. The two pieces we chose, one a printed silk dress and the other a mock-neck pullover, reflect Lim’s brand ethos, both created to exude a strong sense of sophistication and effortlessness. The ruffled cocktail dress is delicate in silhouette, but architectural in pattern—a juxtaposition we couldn’t help but submit to.

Praised for the way they bring French style to the hardworking New York woman, brothers Arik and Laurent Bitton of IRO have become the go-to designers for east coasters craving that discerning Parisian look. We’ve chosen two jackets, one more fashion-forward and the other a perfect weekender piece, both created using top materials and a thoughtful eye for detail. For a more luxe layering option, we chose this stunning rabbit fur coat from H Brand, and for something a bit longer this winter, Ganni’s check coat with tie waist will add a metropolitan edge to your cold weather wardrobe.

Sophie Hulme NS Holmes Zip Tote, Rag & Bone Harrow Boot, Jerome Dreyfuss Mario Degrade Pony Calfskin

The perfect purse is a hard piece to come by. We’ve all spent hours scrolling in search of an illusive dream bag that may never appear. To help ease the pain of an endless hunt, we chose two beautiful bags, each marked by very different aesthetics. The Sophie Hulme zip tote is slick and streamlined, designed with graphic, golden hardware and a spacious body for the downtown nine-to-five woman. Jerome Dreyfuss’ signature bohemian vibe shines through with this pony calfskin bag—a nostalgic look that recalls the days when Stevie Nicks first took over radio.

Similarly, a go-to ankle boot can be a tricky shoe to unearth, but this Rag & Bone signature is one that can easily be worn in both formal and flirty environments. Pair it with a cropped trouser and slim blazer for the office or throw on a patterned sun dress and motorcycle jacket for the bar.

A.P.C. Alpes Parka, Blue & Cream Pullover Hoody, R13 Skate Jean, A.P.C. Surchemise Steven Flannel

We’re devoted A.P.C. fans. The way the buzzy french brand always delivers slimmed-down essentials without any overwrought design features is something that’s warmly welcomed. It’s classic, but never boring—straightforward, but never lazy. This Italian blue-grey parka and Americana flannel showcase A.P.C.’s core values and would look undeniably smart paired with a Blue & Cream pullover hoody and rugged pair of R13 denim.

Garrett Leight Sunglasses, Golden Goose Super Star Skate

Luxury streetwear label Golden Goose has a knack for building a bridge between modern silhouettes and vintage influences. This timeless distressed sneaker stays true to GG’s coveted look, offering a more interesting alternative to the green-backed Stan Smiths everyone’s been wearing all year. These California-inspired Garrett Leight shades offer a nice complement to the shoe, designed with a timeless turtle frame and green-tinted lenses.
