Acqua, a thriving White Bear Lake restaurant, is expanding even farther afield with a Forest Lake location.
The Forest Lake Times reports that Acqua founders Daron Close, Nicole Whetzel and executive chef Chris Whalen plan to open the new location, in the former Lake House Restaurant, in early March.
All three have ties to the D'Amico restaurant business; Close had previously managed Cafe Lurcat and Masa.
