St. Louis Metropolitan Police Chief Daniel Isom will join the faculty of the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Missouri–St. Louis on Jan. 1, the school said in a statement.
Isom, who earned bachelor’s (1994), master’s (2003) and doctoral (2008) degrees from UMSL, has 24 years of experience in law enforcement and administration. He will step down from his post at the police department at the end of the year.
