Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi filed a civil lawsuit against Hollywood-based Storage & Moving Services over allegations that it impersonated moving giant Ryder System and harmed its customers.
The complaint also names owners Jose Pino, Jodi, Socher and Joshua Socher. The company often did business as Ryder Moving and Storage, which sounds similar to Miami-based Ryder System (NYSE: R), but there’s not connection between the companies.
