Aerojet Rocketdyne on Tuesday said it has hired a new vice president of engineering.
On April 4, Scott Ward will succeed Marvin Young, who retired after 31 years with the Rancho Cordova-based rocket-engine maker (Nasdaq: AJRD).
Ward previously spent nine years at Denver-based United Launch Alliance, where he most recently oversaw liquid- and solid-propellent rocket engines. ULA is an Aerojet Rocketdyne partner that is owned jointly by aerospace giants Lockheed Martin and Boeing.
