The Florin Road Partnership has hired Verna Sulpizio as its new executive director, effective Jan. 1.
Sulpizio, a former project manager for Civitas Advisors, also will lead the nonprofit Florin Road Foundation. She fills a position previously held by Larry Carr, who was elected to the Sacramento City Council in November.
