Old City District will officially unveil its new branding campaign on Friday.

It will include banners on street lights, promotional brochures, “wayfinding” signs, store decals and a new website.

Workers were putting up banners around the Philadelphia neighborhood on Wednesday, but the official launch will be at a cocktail party at the new Hotel Monaco, a 268-room Kimpton hotel across from Independence Hall.

Branding was developed by an Old City marketing agency, Mighty Engine.
