Calbee North America is opening a manufacturing facility in Mississippi.
The company, one of the oldest Japanese food manufacturers in North America, is investing $51.1 million in a new facility in Senatobia, Mississippi. In the next five years, the plant will employ 254 people. Calbee manufactures Saya and Shrimp Chips, Harvest Snaps, Jagabee, Potato Chips, Saya Snow Pea Crisps and Shrimp Chips.
