Maplewood Manor, a county-owned nursing home in Ballston Spa, NY, has lost its insurance coverage following injuries to some residents and the suspicious death of another.
According to a report in the Saratogian, Darwin Select, a subsidiary of Allied World, declined to renew the contract at Maplewood Manor after two cases involving residents resulted in lawsuits against the county. Maplewood Manor is owned by Saratoga County.
