Thacher State Park and Saratoga Spa State Park are among five parks and nine projects in New York's Capital Region that will receive a total of $8.75 million in funds to pay for a series of upgrades and renovations.
The work is part of a $90 million allocation made to 69 projects statewide announced by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. They are part of a multi-year effort to revitalize and renovate parks and historic sites around New York. All of the work should start this year.
