Martin Vanags has been hired as president of the Saratoga County Prosperity Partnership, according to reports from the Times Union and The Daily Gazette.
Vanags most recently managed a nine-county economic development organization in Indianapolis, Indiana. He will start the job May 6.
The county ended its 35-year-long relationship with the Saratoga Economic Development Corp. at the end of 2013 after the independent agency refused to let county supervisors appoint someone to its board. The county…
