I cannot get enough of Cozy Reader Club!! I was lucky enough to win a subscription but that is now over and I'm on my own. This is definitely a subscription that I feel is geared more toward a mature audience of women who love fiction novels of all kinds. This box always feels like a big reward and it's still the first one I hug to my chest and run to open up. It always has the BEST things inside.

This month it's all about reading in the bathtub. Which is not something I do, I have to admit. Too many wet, ruined books. That doesn't stop me from loving all this, though. If only you could smell these things.

The Cost: $64.95/month plus shipping

What You Get: One newly released women's fiction novel, an artisan coffee, tea or hot chocolate, gourmet treats and beautiful handmade items.

Three Tarts Chocolate Pistachio Biscotti- I love pistachios! I'm going to eat these with my hot chocolate.
Value $7

Everything You Want Me to Be by Mindy Mejia- While I tend to be more of a fan of YA and fantasy books, this one look amazing and after having read the jacket, I can't wait to find out what happens. It's about a young woman and the things that happen before her death. Gah! Just gotta finish up Unquiet Lands by Sharon Shinn.

"High school senior Hattie Hoffman has spent her whole life playing many parts: the good student, the good daughter, the good citizen. When she’s found brutally stabbed to death on the opening night of her high school play, the tragedy rips through the fabric of her small town community. Local sheriff Del Goodman, a family friend of the Hoffmans, vows to find her killer, but trying to solve her murder yields more questions than answers. It seems that Hattie’s acting talents ran far beyond the stage. Told from three points of view—Del, Hattie, and the new English teacher whose marriage is crumbling—Everything You Want Me to Be weaves the story of Hattie’s last school year and the events that drew her ever closer to her death."

Value: $26 (cover) $17.10 (Amazon)

Twisted Tomboy Shea Butter Bath Salt Fizz- This stuff is to die for. It smells unbelievabley good. So good I wish I could eat it. So good I need a bath just so I can use. And I don't take baths. Faaantastic!
Value: $11

Brooklyn Candle Studio Gold Travel Candle- Bergamot and jasmine with satsuma and yuzu, this is a refreshing citrusy candle.
Value: $14

Kickapoo Coffee Roasters Driftless Morning- Organic coffee beans, a blend of dark and medium roasts with notes of bittersweet chocolate, maple syrup and citrus. I never know how people guess all these notes because to me it always tastes like dirt.
Value: $14

Shady Creek Farm Soap Cozy- This is so perfect! Just what I need to keep giant bars of soap from flying out of my hand and bouncing all over the shower!
Value: $5

Ollie and Max Soap Co. Sweet Orange Ginger Bar Soap- Handmade soap made with shea butter and organic oils. And it smells fabulous!
Value: $6

VERDICT: I really enjoyed the contents of the box this month! I mean, I pretty much always do. I read a LOT (every day) and probably more than most people I know. Last year I tried to read 200 books using Goodreads to count everything. I think I only made it to around 175, though. :( Women's fiction isn't my favorite since YA and Sci-fi/fantasy hold most of my heart but this box ALWAYS has products I consider essential to the complete reading experience. I think the only thing they haven't sent is a big fluffy blanket but it wouldn't surprise me if one ended up in a box eventually. This is not a box full of bookish trinkets or fan doodads. It's for the dedicated reader who reads to live (oh, that's definitely me-- I'm pretty sure I would die without books). And that's not to say that those of you who love collectibles aren't any of these things. Cozy Reader Club is just more about the experience of reading than about the books themselves. It's basically the best thing ever, imo.

If you would like to sign up for Cozy Reader Club, you can do that here. Get $5 off your first month with code COZYTIME.
