SEGA and Arkedo have released a new action platformer that will have gamers scratching their heads and send them crawling through the pits of the underworld in Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit. The ingenuous plot of Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit revolves around some inappropriate photos getting out of Ash―which are now posted all over the Hellnet. Ash just likes his rubber duckies a little too much and now all the evil spawn of Hell know his dirty little secret.
Ash must now seek his revenge and inflict immense pain on 100 creatures for the emotional distress he has suffered. Players will wreak extreme violence onto all those they come across, and travel through diverse areas of the underworld via teleportation gates. Gamers will come across a wide variety of interesting characters and enjoy one of the most humorus storylines to ever appear in a video game. The storyline comes to life through beautifully crafted and colorful 2D backgrounds that feel like something straight out of an anime series.
Hell Yeah! is completely silly and ridiculous all the way to the very end, and I loved every minute of it! Ash will travel among the depths of Hell inside a circular saw that will allow him to slice and dice his way through enemies, walls, and whatever else stands in his way. If you would like to pimp out your ride―then you can add missile launchers, guns and various other projectile weapons to the infamous death wheel.
The task of killing 100 monsters seems simple enough, but tasks will become more difficult as you progress through the levels.
Players will have to solve puzzles and riddles in some cases in order to defeat the creatures within certain themed areas. Distributed around each zone are shops that allow Ash to cash out his rewards. Players can then purchase weapons, accessories, and upgrades. Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit has its flaws with its unresponsive controls and repetiveneess. However these small flaws can easily be overlooked when you look at what all Hell Yeah! has to offer with its equisite graphics, entertaining gameplay, fun music and nonstop humor. The diverse environments and challenging levels will have players entertained for hours on end.
