Bill Howe is proud to recognize Marcus Noble, Jeff Justice, Steven Winsett and Laurence Calhoun  for upholding the Bill Howe Way as each were awarded one of four company awards at the July shop meeting for the prior months’ excellence.

Marcus Noble, San Diego plumber, received the Above & Beyond Award for his continued efforts and dedication to Bill Howe events, positive online reviews and sharing all of the Bill Howe divisions with customers. Marcus engages with each of his customers and makes such a positive impact resulting in his leading in online reviews with sites like Yelp and Google plus for the month of July. He is also committed to taking the extra step with his customers and sharing in other services with the Bill Howe Family of Companies assisting them in restoration and heating & air services in San Diego. Marcus also embodies the spirit of the family-owned company participating in events such as the Bill Howe softball team, the Bad News Bills.

Jeff Justice came to Bill Howe with limited knowledge of plumbing and virtually no experience. After being promoted form apprentice to full drain tech, he worked hard to improve his customer service skills and exceed all of the high standards of Bill Howe. He’s proven to be an exemplary employee with near perfect arrival times in June, always has a clean and organized truck, looks impeccable in his uniform and delivers professional service for his customers and adheres to all policies to help deliver the most exceptional service for the Bill Howe Family of Companies, which is why he was awarded the Leading by Example Award for June.

Steven Winsett celebrated his 3 year anniversary as a San Diego plumber with Bill Howe in June and was honored with the Excellence Award for craftsmanship. His work on a recent tankless installation surpassed even the meticulous standards of field supervisor, Tom Safreed, and was described by the General Manager as one of the best looking tankless installations he’s seen. Steven also did some of the light electrical work, as he is also a seasoned electrician.

Laurence Calhoun, one of Bill Howe Heating & Air’s field supervisors, is not only a skilled HVAC specialist, but who also demonstrates extraordinary customer service skills. He is the June Customer Service Award winner for his outstanding assistance to one of our customers during a stressful flood situation. He made a house call to his customer at midnight and was able to swiftly get her air conditioner up and running, while coordination with restoration to help mitigate the water damage. Our customer even wrote in to share her experience saying, “[Laurence] showed me what teamwork was all about…thanks for his knowledge, expertise, quickness and professionalism. You made a stressful situation less painful.”
