Guardians of the Children is a nonprofit organization established to help abused children. The Wildcat chapter held a fundraiser Saturday to help aid in assisting children who have been abused. It was a little bit of fun for an important cause.

GOC works in conjunction with CASA, Battered Women, West Texas Centers MHMR and Big Brother's Big Sisters.

“All the money stays with GOC,” said chapter president Samuel Hull, a.k.a. “Bullet.”

Aside from being chapter president, Hull has a personal stake in child advocacy — his wife was severely abused as a child.

I just want to help the children,” he said.

Volunteers offer protection for children before during and after court appearances.

“Sometimes the parents can't go to court with the child,” Hull explained. By accompanying a child to court, the leather clad Harley riders set a tone providing a safe atmosphere for truthful and complete testimony, he added.
