Regional UK firm Chadwick Lawrence has sold its personal injury and clinical negligence practice to Australia-based firm Slater & Gordon.
Chadwick Lawrence said that it intends to focus its work on the conveyancing and employment practices.
Meanwhile Slater & Gordon has also bought Pannone’s consumer law business. The acquisition price of £33m buys Slater and Gordon Pannone’s capacity in PI and serious injury, clinical negligence, court of protection, family, wills, trusts and probate, property and some of the firm’s employment and dispute resolution practice areas.
Slater and Gordon seems to be on a roll, having acquired Taylor Vinters in May, and two firms - Goodmans Law and Fentons - in August.
