London law firm Candey Parker Solicitors has launched an India practice, with a new office in the London financial district.

The firm was founded a year ago by three dual-qualified lawyers - Abhijit Khandeparker, Ravindra Kumar and Parvez Khan - who advised mostly Indian banks operating in the UK.

The launch of the new India group marks a new phase in the firm’s development, and is intended to offer advice to UK and European clients on Indian law.

English practice head Khandeparker said: “There is a big Indian community in London and in the UK. The Indian community would always have the comfort of dealing with Indian lawyers. We are offering the same quality of service at a better price […] and the clients get what they want.”

The firm intends to set up offices in Mumbai and Delhi in the coming months.
