An Indian Brook man charged with attempted murder has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.
31 year old Andrew Stephen Robinson has not entered a plea to a charge of attempted murder.
Robinson is charged in connection with an incident in Stewiacke in December 2011, in which a 32 year old Shubenacadie man was found on Main St., unresponsive and suffering from serious injuries.
The victim had to undergo emergency surgery in Halifax.
As for Robinson, a pre-sentence report has been requested before his March 26th sentencing date.
The attempted murder charge will be dealt with at the time of sentencing.
