1. Assist lawyers in the preparation of incorporation forms and procedure summaries towards the setup of corporate structures in the UAE and abroad
2. Assist lawyers in undertaking ongoing corporate services and other related services to clients, including incorporations, ongoing administration (drafting and preparation of minutes of meetings, resolutions, power of attorneys), renewals and liquidation
3. Draft basic legal documents and letters; draft Letter of Engagements
4. Assist lawyers in the preparation and handling of arbitration and litigation procedures
5. Work directly with lawyers during arbitration hearings – as assistant and/or recording secretary
6. Prepare and arrange the issuance of extracts, certificates and other documents, and their notarization, legalization, super legalization and certified translation
7. Liaise with representatives of the finance unit in respect to issuance and amendments of invoices, payment monitoring, reminders etc.
8. Build and maintain legal databases and files
9. Organize and track legal files
10. Conduct regular corporate health checks (check lists) and good record keeping and file maintenance
11. Perform legal and factual research
12. Continuously improve awareness and knowledge of companies services and clients’ approach and philosophy
13. Review and monitor legal publications
14. Maintain law library
15. Protect operations by keeping clients’ information and plans confidential
16. Other duties from time to time
