Feeder rides and walks are groups of people that meet up to walk or ride to an event together. It’s pretty much an event to an event! Feeder rides or walks are not coordinated, planned, or hosted by BikeSGV or 626 Golden Streets. Please be advised that the feeder rides or walks may take place on streets with cars and that you are responsible for your own safety.

CLAREMONT
Join Pomona Valley Bicycle Coalition & La Verne Bicycle Coalition
to ride out to 626 Golden Streets, Metro’s celebration of multi-modal and public commuting in the greater 626 region. Enjoy bikes, music, vendors, and free activities!

Time: 7:30AM
Meet Up Location:
Euro Cafe, 546 E Baseline Rd, Claremont, CA 91711
(corner of Bonita & D street)

EAGLE ROCK
This is a family friendly feeder ride to San Gabriel Valley’s first open street event, 626 Golden Streets.

There will be two meet up points before riding to the West end of the route in South Pasadena. First meet up point will be at Yosemite Recreation Center. Then at York Park around 9:00AM. Bring your bike in good working order, water, snacks, and helmets for anyone under 18.

The pace of this feeder ride will be slow. Any children riding their own bike must be able to ride safely in a bike lane. For younger kids, a kid trailer, or kid seat is recommended. No one will be left behind!

GLENDALE
Join Walk Bike Glendale as we ride to and through 18+ miles of open streets linking 6 Foothill Gold Line stations and 7 San Gabriel Valley cities from South Pasadena to Azusa.

Time: 7:00AM
Meet Up Location:

PASADENA
Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition is riding to 626 Golden Streets on Sunday, March 5, 2017!

Time: 8:00 am meetup, 8:30 am rollout.
Location: Pasadena City Hall (100 N Garfield Ave)

Join us for a group ride to 626 Golden Streets. We’ll be riding at a friendly pace to accommodate most levels of cyclists. Thankfully, much (but not all) of the route is downhill. And while the Golden Streets route itself is closed to motorists, the short route we will be taking to get to the event will be shared by motorists.

We will ride as a group, obeying all traffic laws (stop at stop signs, red lights, etc.), and helping each other along the way.

HIGHLAND PARK
Metro & Bike SGV are hosting their open streets event and we’ll be taking a casual feeder ride from the Highland Park Metro stop to the LACBC booth in Michillinda Park. Our intrepid ride leader from NELA- Dale will be leading this ride.

Sunday Funday Rides are free and open to LACBC members plus one guest. Interested in becoming a member? Sign up for membership online (or become a member at the ride!) All LACBC members who ride on Sunday Funday will get a free jersey at the LACBC booth!
