Serve as representative of facility and maintain positive image by providing flawless initial thru post-transaction customer service. Serve as subject matter expert for local community and answer customer questions or requests for information that may not be directly related to specific job. Identify potential problems or issues for customers and act to resolve them as efficaciously as possible. Apologize for a negative experience and work to correct any outstanding issues. Continue to engage the customer and follow-up to ensure needs were met and overall experience was positive.

Screen phone calls and requests to speak to the manager or administrative office and vet requests for urgency and validity. Reduce the supervisor’s workload and make the entire organization run more efficiently by resolving problems or handling requests personally if possible.

Handle cash and credit transactions for bowling lane rentals, professional shop goods and services, special events, ticket sales, space rentals, bingo, and various other products and services available. Responsible for up to several thousand dollars of daily transactions without audit-able incident.

Book conference rooms, parties, and social events. Serve as end-to-end customer service coordinator by taking initial calls or walk-in requests for information, informing the customer of prices and service packages offered, recording reservations and processing payments, and ensuring customers’ needs and expectations are met on the day of their event. Training and Headquarters Section Supervisor, US Army, Wiesbaden, Germany

Assessed training needs and ensured fulfillment by conducting regular, ongoing training assessments for company of 96 personnel and formulating training plans. Ensured training was conducted in accordance with US Army, Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), US Army Europe (USAREUR), and 66th MI Bde policies. Extensively consulted Army, TRADOC, and USAREUR regulations and policy letters in order to make sure training was being properly conducted and evaluated to standard.

Ensured compliance with changing funding priorities and procedures by keeping staff informed of new procedures to request and authorize training. Responded to shifting budget allocations and changing priorities for allocation of limited funds for training by informing command team of new policies and training staff on subsequent procedural changes.

COMMUNICATED TRAINING PLANS AND SPECIFICS by preparing training calendars up to 8 weeks in advance and publishing training schedules, plans, and information to company. Ensured that personnel in need of training were informed of when training was to be conducted and how to attend.

Maintained training records in digital and hard copy for entire company. Overhauled Company Defense Training Management System records and increased verifiability of data, resulting in Company regularly being selected for inspections due to its high quality of record keeping. Addressed deficiencies in record keeping by notifying supervisors, generating memorandums for record to maintain accountability, and formulating appropriate Plans of Action to address issues.

Maintained company equipment, facilities, and personnel by conducting weekly maintenance sessions to verify operability and proper maintenance of two military vehicles and a utility van. Increased asset accountability in key control logs and ensured physical security of 12 computer systems. Responsible for the health, welfare, and training of up to 20 people on a daily basis.

Guardrail Mission Manager, US Army, Wiesbaden, Germany

Allocated and supervised proper utilization of intelligence assets valued at up to $42 million and requiring a staff of up to 23 Soldier and civilian personnel on multiple continents. Responsible for the overall collection, processing, and dissemination of time-sensitive information in response to theater-level priority intelligence requirements for forward-deployed units on the ground in theater in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Continually supervised and refined asset allocation in response to shifting intelligence priorities and weather conditions as well as allied and enemy troop dispositions. Maintained a personnel scheduling scheme at least three months in advance for 62 individuals to ensure that daily workloads could be met.

Oversaw implementation of new overall system architecture that improved intelligence targeting, processing, evaluation, dissemination, and feedback. This project was met with initial resistance on the part of my employees due to the fact that it reorganized personnel allocation and required the acquisition of a new and different skill set. Despite this initial reluctance on the part of my employees, this new system immediately returned dividends with positive customer feedback by improving the capability of disparate Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) assets to cross-cue their efforts and better support customers in remote locations. Assisted by my personal effort and initiative, this system became the norm.

Set up and ran company equal opportunity program over a 2.5 year period, conducting 82% of all training events resulting in 281 training hours on Department of Defense and Army Policy. Conducted four Command Climate Surveys, analyzed results and trends in overall morale climate of unit, and delivered results to Company leadership. Maintained records of training, prepared quarterly reports, and set up an information board about the program in the company area.

Acting Platoon Sergeant, US Army, Fort Stewart, GA

Scheduled quarterly training for SIGINT section and secured approval by working directly with Company, Battalion, Brigade, and Foundry Cadre to arrange for classes on specific subjects and scheduling the requisite facilities. Used my experience in combat to shape the training that I felt the next group of Soldiers would need. Constructed training recommendations and evaluation benchmarks by citing relevant ARTEPs and STPs. Secured Division SIGINT approval for class plan and made sure linguists were enrolled in required language maintenance training. Created training calendar and briefed company leadership. The plan was approved.

Oversaw redeployment of squad of nine soldiers without any loss of equipment, personnel, or property. Assisted in reintegration back into society upon arrival in the States and integrated five new personnel into squad. Prepared six personnel for Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves by helping them get their paperwork, possessions, and personal affairs in order prior to the move. Implemented Physical Readiness Training as the standard for platoon.

Conserved unit supplies and funds by overseeing the in-theater turn-in of collection system and components for depot-level reset valued at over $3 million. Maintained possession and accountability of TOP SECRET elements of system and assured their proper transition and tracking from theater to turn-in for storage upon arrival at home station. Selected personnel to hand-carry sensitive items and made sure they had courier orders authorizing them to complete their duties. Maintained documentation of equipment turned in for reset and ensured chain of custody after my PCS move.

Multi-Source Intelligence Fusion Cell Supervisor, US Army, Iraq

Conducted weekly synchronization briefings with all supported battalions, other operating units, and various other governmental agencies in brigade area of operations, creating working relationships to foster information exchange, accuracy of reporting, and feedback.

Volunteered to proof collection system in hostile environment to reduce gaps in ISR coverage. Used the opportunity to foster a relationship with the supported company commander and generate cross-discipline intelligence products with the assigned HUMINT tactical team, resulting in greater threat awareness, increased battle effectiveness, and improved freedom of movement for coalition forces.

Briefed brigade leadership on weekly basis. Prepared intelligence products to support recommendations regarding specific threats and supported position with oral arguments.

Responsible for the collection, processing, and dissemination on all SIGINT products prior their distribution during my shift. Made sure that proper information security standards were followed and that classified information was disseminated at the appropriate level. Coordinated with supporting assets to make sure their information reached the targeted customer. Secured approval prior to releasing information as needed and implemented damage assessment, control , and reporting when information was inappropriately released.

Personally oversaw the transition into theater of sensitive items by creating transportation, tracking, and inventory system for crypto logic keys from home station to Forward Operating Base. All items remained within the chain of custody despite my lack of presence. Chosen to fly with selected sensitive items on a direct flight into theater in order to retain a continual chain of custody of specific items of equipment.

SIGINT Squad Leader, US Army, Fort Stewart, GA

Supervised the initial issue and fielding of new hardware and all associated equipment, subsystems, and vehicles with a net value in excess of $3 million. Received vehicles from depot and attended six week fielding class. Upon completion of training and initial field testing, maintained a chain of custody as served as end hand receipt holder for entire system, including top secret and sensitive items components.

Served as primary SIGINT collector and manager during National Training Center rotation immediately prior to deployment. Conducted site surveys, established collection plan, and coordinated all SIGINT Collection and processing for brigade during entire training period. Provided crucial support to brigade combat operations and received recognition from Observer/Controller Cadre for team efforts.

Prepared squad for success on upcoming deployment by completing training and certification in Modern Standard Arabic Refresher Course, Iraqi Dialect, SIGINT Terminal Guidance, Joint IED Defeat Task Force Counter-IED Program, Combat Lifesavers Course, Military Vehicle Maintenance, and multiple weapons systems qualifications. Took charge of company alpha run group and structured running exercise and maintenance plan that was utilized for entire 15-month ARFORGEN Redeployment to Deployment Readiness cycle. Personally ensured squad was trained and prepared for a 20 km ruck march and led the only squad that completed the march within the allotted time.

Responsible of the conservation of unit funds and material by personally directing and supervising the care and weekly maintenance of four armored military vehicles, three trailers, a gas-powered generator, and a satellite communications system.

Cryptologic Linguist / Signals Intelligence Analyst, US Army, Iraq

Performed collection and initial processing of hostile enemy communications. Responsible for determining if material warranted further processing, evaluation, and dissemination. Provided brigade commander and subordinate unit commanders with information regarding threats to coalition forces, battlefield atmospherics, and enemy troop locations and disposition.

Served as courier for top secret communications security (COMSEC) materials on a monthly basis, transiting from working site to headquarters in Baghdad and back. Responsible for the acquisition, movement, security, timely destruction, and subsequent records maintenance of COMSEC materials crucial to mission operations.

Served as family readiness group coordinator, applying for, receiving, and disbursing Army Community Support funds for company. Coordinated social functions for Soldiers and their family members and dependents upon redeployment to home station to facilitate successful reintegration into society upon completion of combat tour.

Certified as proficient in modern standard arabic upon completion of studies at Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in Monterey, CA and received an Associate of Arts Degree in Middle Eastern Studies. During training, served as guide for Outdoor Recreation Department on single- and multiple-day trips to parks and wilderness areas throughout California. Responsible for end-to-end process of tours, from planning, coordination, transportation, supervision of safety, and proper return of supplies and gear. For these efforts I was awarded a Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.

Certified as cryptologic linguist upon completion of Army Individual Training. Studied tactics, techniques, and procedures for collection, evaluating, processing, and distributing SIGINT and subsequent reporting methods. While at this school, participated in several extra-curricular group activities, such as ruck marching and Iron Squad Competition.

Responsible for supply logistics and daily receipts for retail food location. Ordered, received, inventoried, and stocked dry goods on a weekly basis. Responsible for processing daily cash and credit receipts, entering totals into accounting database, and certifying their deposit.

Controlled costs and maintained profitability with appropriate staffing and adherence to corporate standards for hygiene and product quality. Continually ramped up retail receipts over 16 month period despite the fact that multiple other storefronts opened in the same district while maintaining very high customer service ratings.
