Harnessing the health-promoting properties of natural flaxseed, LinPro 140 offers powerful health benefits and nutritional value. Containing beneficial omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidant lignans, the 100 per cent flax ingredient has a low Glycemic Index and delivers a PDCAAS value of 0.68 and 38-40% protein content. Furthermore, this protein fortification ingredient is also vegetarian, GMO-free, and contains 32 per cent fiber.
In addition to a healthy protein positioning, LinPro 140 delivers appealing organaleptic properties. Its clean flavor profile and non-gritty mouthfeel lends a unique, soft texture in bars throughout their shelf life. The powder’s excellent solubility makes it ideal for use in beverages, adding to the smooth mouthfeel in viscous products.
LinPro 140 is heat treated with Glanbia Nutritionals’ patented MicroSure™ Plus 5-log kill process. The validated treatment process is designed to provide safe flaxseed with a stable shelf life of two years.
