Museums are often closed at approximately 6 p.m. But several Art museums in Singapore are challenging this by staying open till 2 a.m. Why's that? Because of the Night Festival event that was recently in town!

Night Festival, as implied by the name, is a nocturnal event! What’s included is music, dance, installation artwork and even dramatic aerial performances! Main events were held in the public, green spaces of the Singapore Management University with the late night openings of the National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Art Museum and other museums, the public were able to enjoy different performance regardless of the time of day!

Though the festival has attracted many foreigners, it aims to focus on local acts. More than 90% of the participants are Singaporean! The only school that teaches Circus Arts, Circus Swingapore, has joined this event as well! Light installation, experimental film and busking competition can be found in this festival!
