The Tesla Model S is back atop the Norwegian sales charts!

New car sales in Norway are up by a nudge in November: +0.8% year-on-year to 12,079 registrations, which brings the year-to-date total to 130,756 units, up 2% on 2012. If like me you thought that the pole position of the Tesla Model S here back in September was a freak event due to the delivery of 2 years-worth of orders, well you were mistaken! After falling out of the Top 20 in October, the Model S is back with a vengeance: up to an unbelievable (once again) 2nd place thanks to 527 sales and 4.4% share! Tesla’s electric sports sedan has now found an astounding 1,433 buyers in Norway alone!
Nissan Leaf
But wait the electric good news don’t stop there: after leading the market for the first time last month, the Nissan Leaf is down to a more reasonable 5th place with 512 units and 4.2% but up one spot in the year-to-date ranking to climb on the overall podium at #3 with 4,267 sales and 3.3% below only the VW Golf at 6,905 units and 5.3% and the Toyota Auris at 4,507 units and 3.4%. Notice also the Skoda Octavia stable at an excellent 4th place with 524 sales and 4.3% this month.
