Watch Alabama’s raucous SEC Championship edition of Rammer Jammer

The Big Ten titlegame may have more College Football Playoff implications than the SEC Championship Game, but you wouldnt know it by the ticket prices.

While the numbers have been skewing towards cheaper tickets in the Big Ten all week, the day of game pricing has slid to an embarrassing mark for matchup between Penn State and Wisconsin in Indianapolis.

According to Vivid Seats, tickets for the Big Ten football championship are available on the day of game for as cheap as $8. ESPNs Peter Burns tweeted a Saturday afternoon screenshot from StubHub showing a set of four tickets available for $6 each.

By comparison, the SEC rematch between Florida and Alabama seems much more appealing to SEC fans in spite of the lack of serious CFP implications. Alabama is likely to make the final four with or without the conference championship, and Florida is considered a long shot to sneak in at No. 4 even if the Gators beat Alabama in convincing fashion.

According to Vivid Seats, the cheapest tickets available for the SEC title game are $131. Thats more than 16 times more expensive than the Vivid Seats offerings for the Big Ten title game.

This years SEC Championship will be the final conference title game played at the Georgia Dome, as the game is slated to be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium beginning in 2017.
