Revolutionary Coil Design
The big deal about the Nautilus Mini is the brand new coil design by Aspire. The new technology is designed to have the coils last longer and give a purer and cleaner taste from e juices. It is called the BVC, or Bottom Vertical Coil.
There are no more wicks to worry about! You can still use the regular coil heads from the original Aspire Nautilus if you have those coils as well. Some people have experienced an issue with the new coils, but to date there have been mainly positive reviews.
The Nautilus Mini comes installed with a 1.8 ohm BVC coil head. One of the more popular settings to use your BVC for the Nautilus Mini is at 1.8 ohms at 13 watts. In addition, the new bottom vertical coils are also compatible with the original Aspire Nautilus.

Airflow Control
The Nautilus Mini includes an improved four-port adjustable airflow system that is user friendly, as well as reliable. This four port system allows the user to adjust the draw, warmth of the vapor, and the amount of vapor that’s produced by simply rotating the valve ring.
Threading
The Nautilus Mini has an ego threading but with a connector you can attach it to a 510 battery device. You can use it with any device that supports eGo.
Best Mod Device for the Nautilus Mini
If you need a new and reliable rechargeable battery device, this IS NOT for you. This is for the vapers. The Vamo V5 is a more advanced (but not hard to figure out) device that uses individual batteries to power it. It has very high reliability, and you should it out our review on it here.

Tank Capacity
The Aspire Nautilus Mini has a tank capacity of 2 ml, so you’ll be able to fill it with your all day vape. The clearomizer comes with two tank options. You can choose between the stainless steel tank setup, or the popular pyrex glass tank. Both setups will last you a long time because they are made of more durable material than the plastic clearomizer tanks.

Drip Tip
The Nautilus Mini comes standard with a rounded drip tip. It also comes with a small silicon rubber sealing ring. This option allows you to attach your favorite 510 drip tips to the Nautilus Mini.
Final Thoughts
With a high grade tank, airflow control system and a new coil setup, the Aspire Nautilus Mini is looking to be the best clearomizer for 2014. You can use it on any eGo or 510 threaded mod device (as long as you have the a 510 adapter). It’s also liable to be very popular given the Aspire Nautilus’s previous success. Look out for this one, as there’s not really any downsides to spending the extra money on a device that works.
