Brazil is a huge country rich in wild nature. The country, hosts large areas covered by forests, with rivers, spectacular waterfalls and deep canyons. Here, between tropical rain forests and atlantic forests, biodiversity is the habitat of several species of mammals, reptiles, birds and plants.



Brazil, today, hosts almost 70 national parks: the oldest dates back to 1937 and it is the Itatjaia National Park, between the States of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo e Minas Gerais.



The most beautiful parks in Brazil are the National Marine Park of Fernando de Noronha and the National Park Lençóis Maranhenses. In the first park, you can find the most beautiful beach of Brazil: it is Baia do Sancho, appreciated by tourists from all over the world. The National Marine Park of Fernando de Noronha is part of the Unesco heritage sites. Here, you can also find dolphins , albatrosses and sea turtles.



The National Park Lençóis Maranhenses is located in the north-west of the Country. Lençóis Maranheses is large 70 km large, along the coast and 25 km inland. It is the habitat for several species and migratory birds. The best seasons to visit the park are spring and summer when rainwater forms lakes and ponds. The park, created in 1981, can be explored in a day or you can make a stop for the night in the villages of Atins, Caburé and Mandacaru.
