Dear BSRA Members,
Thank you for your patience so far in the staged reopening of the BSRA.
We are excited to confirm that in keeping with the Government plan to move forward with Phase Four starting July 1 the BSRA Can move forward with the next steps in our reopening plan.
From Wednesday July 1 the BSRA will further reopen with the following rules and guidelines in place:
BSRA Opening Hours July 1 – 5
Wednesday 8am-8pm
Thursday 8am-8pm
Friday 8am-4pm
Saturday 9am-12pm
Sunday 9am-12pm
The BSRA Facility will ONLY be open during these hours when a staff member is present. Door fobs will not work during this time.
BSRA Opening Hours July 6 – August 28 (Summer time Hours)
During this 8 week period the BSRA will run its kids summer camp daily from 8am-12pm. The camp sold out all 96 spaces in just 55 minutes the other day and is a much needed boost to the club after a tough few months.
We appreciate the members allowing the kids private use of the facility during this daily 4 hour period.
BSRA Member hours:

Saturday 9am-12pm
Sunday 9am-12pm

BSRA Rules
You MUST check in at the welcome table on arrival and complete the sign in register.
Temperature will be taken on arrival at the club. If your temperature is above normal even slightly, you will be turned away.
Please ensure you use hand sanitizer that is located welcome table upon arrival and when leaving the club.
Masks must be worn when entering and exiting the facility at all times.
Please follow all guidance posted on signs around the club. These guidelines are for the safety of the members and staff. Please note that BSRA Members use the BSRA Facilities at their own risk.
BSRA Bar (Court 5)
· Bar Open during the hours listed above
· Outside seating area will be kept in place for members to use
· No seating actually at the bar will be available however socially distanced seating and guidance will be provided in the lounge area when we have received approval to do so.
BSRA Gym
· Members will now be able to use the gym normally with no booking required
· Members are reminded to please clean down equipment after use and to socially distance as much as possible with the gym area
BSRA Squash Courts
· Members may now use the courts normally for pairs squash
· Courts may be booked in the normal way at http://www.xpiron.com/schedule/
· We ask that members consider forming a squash group “bubble” of up to 5 players in the initial returns to normal use. Try and select similar level players that you may have already socialized and exercised with who are a trusted partner, so to minimize risk of further transmission.
· During this time there will be no BSRA Leagues, tournaments, events of any kind and the BSRA must stress that members use the facilities, select playing partners and participate in squash or gym activities at their own risk.
BSRA Locker Rooms
· The BSRA Locker rooms remain closed at this point. Members may access the lockers to get equipment but no shower or changing facilities are available.
Planning Ahead…
· The BSRA Staff and Committee will continually monitor government issued health guidelines and make sure that the BSRA is providing the safest facility possible for our members
· Plans for organized events and programmes for the coming weeks and months are being discussed and will be announced as they are deemed safe to be held
BSRA AGM – Tuesday 6.00pm July 7, 2020
· Please don’t forget the BSRA AGM Meeting is to be held this coming Tuesday July 7 at 6.00pm
· The meeting will be held via Zoom video conferencing. Details for the meeting will distributed closer to the time.
