Sarah and Ted have announced the two charities the pub will be supporting in 2017. They were chosen by Sally Dunn, from Bere Alston, as the charities who helped her daughter Holly with her illness.
They are Brain Tumour Research and Mustard Tree. The recent quiz at the pub raised £75 and this will be given to the charity fund.
In addition, on 23rd April 2017, Sally will be taking part in the London Marathon. In support of this, the pub will be laying on a 2.6 mile walk, followed by a St George's Family Event in the pub afterwards to raise money for the charities.
