I love being a Purex Insider and getting to try all of their great products! This time they sent me their new Purex Crystal Dryer Sheets to try out and before I even had the box all the way opened I could already smell the fantastic scent of Lavender Blossom. I’m not usually a fan of Lavender, but this is not the “old lady” lavender smell that I am used to….these smell absolutely wonderful! To me they smell like a bouquet of fresh picked wildflowers…yet they are not too feminine to use for all of the family’s wash.
Of course these work great for softening and freshening your laundry (as do all of Purex’s products in my opinion) but they have many other great uses too! I am always trying to figure out new ways to use them around the house. One of my favorite ways is putting them inside shoes to get rid of that nasty foot sweat odor….this is especially good for kid’s shoes or shoes worn during athletic activities! I also like to put them in my drawers to keep my socks and other items fresh smelling. One sheet will freshen a drawer for weeks! Another of my favorite ways to use them is to place them inside my pillowcase. There’s really nothing better than having a fresh smelling pillow to lay your head on and the Lavender Blossom is perfect since it is a very calming, relaxing fragrance. There are really tons of ways you can use these.
