Hi ya!!! I hope you are having a fantastic week!
I am often asked about my planner when people see that I use it in a bit different way maybe then expected and I wanted to share that process with you today! Many of the bible journaling supplies we make work PERFECT for planning as well, they are flat, colorful, faith FULL and small (due to the small margins in a bible) so really you can use any of our products in your planner as well but for this release we wanted some items that work PERFECTLY for the #plannergirls in our community!
I use the Illustrated Faith planner from DaySpring, I love the bible verses and inspiring quotes throughout while still leaving me lots of space to do some faith planning and goal setting! I also use my planner as a place to write down prayers and praises!
The first thing I do when I open up my planner for the week is take a piece of washi tape and place it down the center. I love that this kind of divides up each day. I use the left side to write down my goals for where I hope to be studying, who I hope to connect with, bible verses I am wanting to study, books I am wanting to read etc! It's not that I "have" to do these each day, I just find that if I write it down I am more likely to try to do at least one of these things each day. You will also see I have bible journaling down for 1 day, well for me that means to just make EXTRA time that day to bible journal, in reality (if I am not traveling) I am taking at least 15 mins each day to bible journal, something about it and that way of connecting to Jesus just refuels my soul!!!
The right side of the day I take alpha stickers typically and spell out "prayers" sometimes I use one side for prayers and one side for praises, this time I have prayers at the top of both but you can see I use praise hands in there as well to document those. I like to crave out room to make sure I am not only flooding my pages with prayer but also making sure that I praise Him for #allthethings!!!! Of course throughout the week my prayers will encompass more then what you see here, but these are the big things I know going into the week I want to focus on. I also find this to be a wonderful place to write down those prayers that we say in passing with a friend " I will be praying for you " of course you say a prayer in that moment, or maybe the next few days but I love writing them down here to make sure I stay focused on that promise.
Overall I love faith planning, it's another creative outlet where I can express my faith while also meeting the goals and staying on track. I also wanted to say this is just the framework, I always allow for surprises in here as God may take you on an unexpected path, but I just like to have this in place as a jumping off point!!

1. The New Faith Planner Stamps! I love to use things over and over again I think that is key as a visual learner and THESE are so fun! I love the little praise hands icons as well as several other super useful items!!
2. Planner Pieces, I know I will already want more of these! I love that they include stickers that I don't see on other planner stickers such as bible journaling, bible study and church service! So useful!!
3. Planner Word Art - I don't know about you but I love good word art and ones that speak straight to my heart = EVEN BETTER!!! These stickers are sure to speak to your bible journaling heart!!!
4. All the items that include the books of the bible!! Books & Topics wordfetti, Books of the bible stamps! The books of the bible and chapter & verse 1 inch washi tapes and the book it roller stamp are all SUPER useful not only in your bible journaling but for places that you are illustrating your faith outside the bible such as your planner, journal, and scrapbooking! These essential items are ones I will be reaching for time and time again!!!
