This week, we asked our designers to focus on the new Riley and Rover collections when creating their projects. These new collections will be hitting your favorite local scrapbook stores and online retailers any day now, and we want you to have plenty of ideas in mind when you're able to get a hold of them. I love the projects our Creative Team members came up with, and I hope you do too!

"Puppy Love", by Leanne Allinson.

I am loving the Daily Detail project life style cards included in the new collections. With the Rover Daily Details, I wanted to base my layout around the specific 3x4 cut apart card that features the red heart and white paw prints. I balanced the 3x4 card with a 3x4 photo opposite it and used several different papers from the same collection to create a patchwork style background. To create a little more interest on my page, I've fussy cut several different elements and mounted them on foam dots. Finally, as I have no journaling on my layout, I've included a QR code of my boys playing with our dog!

Supplies:
Rover: Dog Show, Borders, Daily Details, Puppy Prints, Treasures & Text, Trinkets; Freestyle Sophisticates: Freestyle McIntosh; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: Guacamole, White; Little Bits: Oreo Black; Ciao Chip Elements: Hearts & Stars

"Chester", by Kat Benjamin.

I combined the Riley & Rover collections to highlight this adorable picture of my in-laws’ dog (I mean, seriously, look at that tongue!). I love the cute stickers from the Rover collection so I arranged them all in a vertical line down the center of the page to make them really stand out.

Supplies:
Riley: Friendly Felines, Fish Bone; Rover: Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Loyal; Enamel Dots: Oreo Black; Enamel DooDads: McIntosh, Blueberry; Little Bits: Blueberry

“Keep Calm and Love Cats” card, by Julia Akinina.

I am a cat-lover so there was no question which collection I'll choose for my projects. I cut out the 3x4 card from the Daily Details paper and made it the main element of this card. I added some die-cuts, stickers, enamel dots and another adorable sentiment from the sticker sheet. And the perfect card for a cat-lover is done!

Supplies:
Riley: Soxie, Tabby Cat, Borders, Daily Details, Trinkets, Treasures & Text; Enamel Dots: McIntosh

“Live, Love, Meow” card, by Julia Akinina.

My second card is brighter. I love this black patterned paper that I used for the background of my card. I cut a cute little mouse border from the Borders paper and I used 3d foam adhesives to lift up the cat sticker and the little fish-sticker from the Treasures & Text. I love to use the enamel dots and acrylic dots as an accents on my cards.

Supplies:
Riley: Soxie, Tabby Cat, Borders, Daily Details, Trinkets, Treasures & Text; Enamel Dots: Bell Pepper, Guacamole
