This past weekend the Market America Team had an amazing time sharing the UnFranchise Business at the FAITHWORKS Conference in Jamaica! We experienced phenomenal success on multiple fronts during our trip to Jamaica, thanks to our incredible team and amazing friends who came out to support this great cause. Having friends like Lennox Lewis, Carmelo Anthony, Rohan Marley, Kamal Hotchandani, Bishop Wayne Malcolm, Bishop Jordan, and DawnChere and Rich Wilkerson all coming to FAITHWORKS to support the UnFranchise made this trip even more special for us.
We had an incredible weekend in Jamaica at Bishop Wayne Malcolm’s FAITHWWORKS Conference where Pastors and Bishops came together with delegates from churches to join forces and encourage entrepreneurism and expose opportunity. The UnFranchise, Market America and SHOP.COM were featured as model opportunities with the different components within the business such as Motives, Isotonix, TLS, Web Centers, and so on. We were able to open Jamaica as an EMP country so that Jamaicans could sponsor and earn residual income in the MPCP as well as cross-pollinate in the Americas and Europe. Of course the NPO was a main focus point for this conference and stimulated broad interest with almost everyone, and Kevin Buckman (the Professor) was there to enlighten those interested in learning more about it. Leveraging the congregations’ shopping power to fund the church while also saving money was a concept that really resonated at FAITHWORKS.
Although we went to Jamaica with two main objectives, the trip became about so much more. Carmelo Anthony was with us and attended some of our events and hung out with the UFO’s and corporate team. Then our friend Lennox Lewis came out to support us and even spent time coaching some of our top UFOs (professional networkers from UK and Jamaica) as to how to use discipline in any game or “fight “ and to control the process (fight) with the constant Jab. They had a blast and took tons pictures with the former World Heavyweight Champion. Kamal Hotchandani, founder and CEO of Haute Living was there to support us and arranged a meeting with Rohan Marley (Son of reggae legend and Jamaican hero Bob Marley). Rohan is the founder of Marley Coffee which is doing very well around the world. He fell in love with our business model and people and that quickly evolved into a proposal for Market America and SHOP.COM to sell Marley Coffee online and through the UnFranchise. Rohan was delightful and a very passionate and animated personality and we are meeting up in NY to finish a potential deal with Marley Coffee! That also led to Adam Stewart, the owner of Sandals, coming over and joining the discussion. Rohan’s Marley Coffee brand is available at Sandals, so we came up with a unique idea to market Isotonix, Motives and LDV or Fixx through the hotels online and with Kiosks to provide solutions. There are hundreds of thousands of tourists and vacationers that pass through yearly and when they buy or become a customer the hotel gets credit for all the repeat purchases and shopping in the future and what they lead to because of our advanced tracking system and MPCP providing a residual income! Great idea — we will see where it goes.
However the purpose of the trip was originally two objectives:
1.) FAITHWORKS Conference organized and chaired by Bishop Wayne Malcolm (now a growing Market UK and SHOP.COM UFO) where Market America and SHOP.COM were sponsors and a featured model entrepreneurial opportunity. There were around 400 Bishops, pastors and delegates at the event, many of which have large followings and are connectors. Additionally, there were many influential and entrepreneurial Jamaican business people there. I was honored to be a featured speaker and an example of the power of entrepreneurism and Market America. Our success story had a huge impact I Jamaica, as we came from humble beginnings without capital to evolve over the past two decades into a global entrepreneurial powerhouse which has spawned over 300 millionaires and thousands of successful UnFranchise Owners around the world. The response to our plan and presentation was simply overwhelming!
We were given the opportunity to expose the group to some opportunities, and had booths set up for Isotonix, the Global SHOP.COM and EMP and the NPO program, WebCenters providing a platform to entrepreneurially market any product or service online, and of course Motives Cosmetics – which rocked the house and was constantly busy. We had breakout sessions and presentations on NPO (Kevin Buckman the professor was incredible as always), The Global SHOP.COM site and EMP (the team hit the bull’s-eye and its potential turned a lot of heads), Isotonix and Phil Guido knocked it out of the park, and Web Centers (Jeremy showed anyone with any product or business how they could market online with the best sites). Motives stole the show though with Christian Vazquez, Loren Ridinger, and Motives Maven Denise Sanchez. It was a packed house and people practically begged to get in. I hope that Tan Westcarr, and Joy McLaughlin can handle the follow ups and number of prospective Motives consultants and UFO’s from this event! They wanted to sign up now! It is almost too hot to handle and may require some of our UFO’s staying there (hint). Len Allen invited some major business people from Kingston who drove 3 to 4 hours just to see us – and he filled the room with power players, sports agents, successful managers, and dynamic entrepreneurs. Needless to say they loved it and Len is a master at coaching and building so now we have all the guns loaded —he is talking about staying for a month in Jamaica to see it through. The same was true for Michael Baptist and Andy Wall, who’ve picked up major hitters and tapped a goldmine in Jamaica!
2.) Shopping Annuity Summit. Three financial planning and networking-seasoned professional recruiters, coaches and builders (previously from companies like Prime America, City Solutions and Genistar) flew in from the UK and 2 local Jamaican professionals joined us for this summit to work with me, Kevin Buckman, Phil Guido, Loren Ridinger, Antony Akers and Jeremy Fennema on the Shopping Annuity. The primary focus and objective was to create a process and form that evaluated one’s spending after seeing the Shopping Annuity presentation. The point is for them to evaluate and document their spending in order to calculate their savings and projected residual income based on getting their organization on it and/or duplicating the process with new UFO’s as they build 2 organizations and to project the residual income. The objective is to do the presentation and the assessment –input it to the computer and deliver a “plan” or “policy” where they commit and agree to go through the process of transferring their spending in each category in the Home Advisor (Shopping Advisor) in order to find as many dollars as possible to fund their Shopping Annuity and drive residual income. The process has to be simple, transparent and duplicable and will be done over a series of corings or small group meeting s and workshops or in a series of personal coaching sessions by the senior partner. They also came in to review all the moving parts of Shopping Annuity platform and system. We want to emulate the processes used by Prime America and City Solutions but there is no requirement to buy insurance or come up with money. Here we are simply transferring money one is already spending to buy the same things they already by through SHOP.COM and Market America or UK – but at a savings, and use that money in the annuity to pay you a residual income. That mission was accomplished! The 2nd part was to come up with a plan to develop a 360 degree shopping experience which could grow to groceries (things other than dry goods or consumer package goods), energy/electric- commodities, gas or petrol, all consumables and CPG, travel and entertainment, swipe cards for department store chains, and SHOP.COM Direct for electronics, appliances, apparel and accessories, insurance, and all other services. The possibilities are almost endless. This may be easier to do in the UK first, but we now have a plan in place – so mission accomplished.
Overall the trip to Jamaica was a smashing success! We have helped open the door of opportunity in Jamaica, and I have no doubt that in the months and years to come we are going to hear countless success stories from the UnFranchise Owners here! Have a look below at more great pictures from our time in Jamaica at FAITHWORKS, and be sure to share this on social media to help spread the word about your UnFranchise Business and to leverage our Star Power and People Power!
Keep Growing!
