4-DAY CAMP IN LATE JUNE

BRECKSVILLE – It won’t be long until summer vacation is here and that means it’s Bees Basketball Camp time. Reserve your spot now. There is only one session this year. Camp takes place from Monday, June 23 through Thursday, June 26 at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School. The camp runs from 1-4 pm.

The camp will be taught by the entire varsity coaching staff at BBHHS and its current players.

The Bees basketball camp is open to boys entering grades 2 through 8. Second and third graders will workout in the Auxiliary Gym. Young men entering grades 4 through 8 will drill in the Main Gym.

The camps purpose is to teach the basic fundamentals of basketball in a fun and enthusiastic environment. “Our goal is to give you a better understanding of this wonderful game and to make you a better basketball player while making sure your experience is enjoyable and rewarding,” said veteran Bees head coach Steve Mehalik.

Each day a specific area of the game will be taught by the Bees coaching staff and its current high school players. Drills will be given to allow campers to work on their games at home. Daily contests will be followed by team games with the focus on having fun and learning. The camp will end each day with a guest speaker who will offer advice and motivation.

The cost is $90 per camper. All campers receive a free t-shirt. Registration deadline is Friday, June 20th.
