Heart to Horse Box is a monthly subscription service brought to us by Stateline Tack. Each month the box includes useful items for your horse and usually something just for the human too! 25% of the proceeds each month go to an equine rescue. Cost is 34.99 which includes economy shipping within the US. You can save 10% by choosing to receive the box every month.

I originally subscribed to Heart to Horse Box just to see what they would include in boxes. I’ve been a loyal member ever since that first box because they do such a wonderful job! Not only do they provide useful, high quality products, but they also give back to equine rescues. Good things all around!

This month, (and it seems like most months) the recipient of the donation is Gentle Giants Draft Rescue. Heart to Horse Box even includes a photo of one of the rescues so you can really see where your funds are going.

Each month the box includes an information card. One side shows you the rescue of the month, and the other side details what’s in the box.

I like that they let you know exactly what’s in the box so you can re-order if you need more!

As always, this box was packed to the brim with full sized products! I really feel like I’m getting my money’s worth from this box. Heart to Horse Box definitely knows the way to MY heart! Let’s take a look at what I got this month!

HylaLube Supplement 16 oz (14.98)

This is a supplement for joint support. Most horses that compete regularly are on some kind of joint support. This really is a nice item to find in a box like this. For me, it’s not one that I’ll use as my horses are already on a different supplement that I am very happy with. But still, it’s a nice thing to find in a sub box!

Mineral Ice 1 lb ($6.82)

Those of you non-horsey folks reading may recognize this! You can get it any pharmacy. Mineral ice is great to rub on sore muscles. We use it the same way on horses that people would on themselves! You can never have too much Mineral Ice laying around!

Cowboy Magic Rosewater Shampoo 16 oz ($5.69)

At this point in the summer my equine shampoo supply is rapidly depleting. A full sized bottle of shampoo was the perfect thing to find in my Heart to Horse Box this month!

Bot Knife ($2.09)

I think botflies (and subsequently their eggs) are a regional problem. I have yet to ever find bot eggs on my horse, so I don’t really have a use for this knife. But it is sharp, and I imagine can also cut open a bale of hay, so I’m sure I’ll find a use for it.

Shires grooming mitt ($6.29)

This will work great with the shampoo! Rubber scrubby mitts are always needed in the barn. I like that this one has a soft scrubby side. Romey will like that with his sensitive skin.

All totaled, the goodies in the June Heart to Horse Box came out to $35.87 It’s not the highest value box I’ve received, but I still got my moneys worth. I subscribe to the monthly delivery, so I paid only $31.50 for this box. The items are all useful. This month there are a couple that I may not use (the bot knife and the supplement) but I feel like not every month will be perfect for every subscriber. I’ll definitely continue with this sub!
