When I opened the box today and saw the “Hoes before Bros” quote by Leslie Knope, I literally laughed out loud. Literally. I love Amy Poehler and Parks and Rec, so I was already smitten. I’m easy to please.

If you love books and quotes and book-inspired goodies, but you would like to choose your own reading material, then I think you’ll appreciate this subscription box. The Book(ish) Box sends a shirt by Appraising Pages Shop and 3-5 feminine home, beauty, and fashion items monthly. The shirts are exclusive to The Book(ish) Box, and they have unisex shirts, tanks, plus-size shirts, long sleeve shirts and V-necks to choose from.

The info card.

The Book(ish) Box did a fantastic job curating around the Galentine’s theme. Also, I appreciate that all of the items are appropriate for the entire year. Not one heart in the bunch.

Each Box comes with a top by Appraising Pages. I chose the tank option in medium and it is great quality and fits true-to-size. I love the Perks of Being a Wallflower quote: “And in that moment I swear we were infinite.” Perks is one of my favorite books. Also, I’m diggin’ the dark gray.

I’m a fan of tassels! This Tassel Key Chain by Appraising Pages is inspired by Fan Girl. I am such a huge Rainbow Rowell fan…I even wrote her a fan letter once.

This Ovaries Before Brovaries magnet by Jar of Buttons is so funny and so perfect for a Galentine’s Box!

Here’s a close-up of the pretty bookmark by Bookworm Boutique. It says, “There are no faster or firmer friendships than those formed between people who love the same books.” This quote is so true! My favorite thing to discuss is books (and maybe my kiddos).

I am a member of THREE book clubs, so this Book Club Notes notebook by Yellow Paper House is a total win for me.

I love how the inside provides space for a summary, quotes, thoughts and a rating.

This Bookworm Boutique Tote Bag says, “It is the friends you can call up at 4 a.m. to talk about books that really matter.” Such an amusing play on Marlene Dietrich’s quote for bibliophiles.

This was such a treat to open! I love the thought behind the Galentine’s curation, and the tank top alone pretty much pays for the box. March’s theme is Debut Novels, and Appraising Pages is also selling a one-time purchase box curated around The Outlander which will include an exclusive mug and a t-shirt. PR sample. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received. I’m a fan.
