Sardaar Gabbar Singh’s Box Office Collection: Good Opening but drastic drop in the second-day collection.
The most awaited movie of the year ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ released on 8 April 2016 worldwide. It made astonishing collections on the opening day of the movie. Critics were having a lot of expectation from this movie and it was predicted that this movie can break the collection record of the Baahubali. But that did not happen though it gained the second position in terms of the collection after Baahubali in Telugu movies. It has also got a great opening in US box office.
Cast of Sardaar Gabbar Singh
This movie is a treat for the fans of Pawan Kalyan. He is the sole reason for the success of the movie. He has pulled off the role of Sardaar Gabbar Singh with so much panache.
It is the story of daring police officer, Sardaar Gabber Singh, who saves village Rattanpur which is lawless and ruled by Bhairav Singh (Sharad Kelkar).
Sharad Kelkar too has put up an exceptional performance as the villain of the movie.
Kajal Aggarwal played the role of the princess of Rattanpur who falls in love with Sardaar Gabbar Singh. The romantic plot of the movie is quite entertaining. She looked quite really a royal princess in it.
The rest of the cast of the movie consists of Ali, Brahmanandam, Posani Krishna Murali, Urvashi, Tanikella Bharani, Pradeep Rawat, Mukesh Rishi, Raai Laxmi, Brahmaji, Kabir Duhan Singh, Tisca Chopra, Rao Ramesh , Pooja Ramachandran and others.
The movie is directed by K.S. Ravindra (Bobby). He has put in great efforts. The music in the movie is given by Devi Sri Prasad, the set of village Rattanpur is created by Brahma Kadali, Cinematography is done by Wilson and dialogues are written by Burra Saimadhav. Everyone has done a great job in the movie. It is the only predictable plot and the length of the movie which is bit turn off.
Box Office Collection
Though the movie has got a mix response but it is doing good in respect of collection. On the opening day of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, it has collected approximately 30 crores worldwide according to The Indian Express. But there is a drop in the second-day collection from the first day. The total earning on the second day was 5.50 crore worldwide according to the reporters times.
The movie is released worldwide with 84 screens in the US, 18 screens in the UK and 18 screens in Canada and 37 screens in the UAE.
Box Office Prediction
